I love people of all ages. I especially love the elderly. I love to hear their stories, listen to music, get them to dance, smile and laugh. I believe that it is important to keep the brain and body moving in whatever ways that are still possible. Listening to music, going for rides, sitting out in the yard, going out on little excursions, and walks in the neighborhood are some of the things I find people still enjoy. I have recently completed a 2.5 yrs position as a live in caretaker/house manager for an 89 year old man with Alzheimer's. He required 24/7 care. Not only did I take care of him in all capacities, I also handled staffing, medical issues, communication with the family, etc.
