I became a caregiver to be able to help someone in need to care for them. What i like about being a caregiver is i am setting an example for others on how good it is to help love ones when no one else is there to take care of them. A personal achievement i am proud of is when family members have came up to me and said thank you for taking such good care of their love ones and have seen a big change in them weather it was a smile or they eating or trying to do more for themselves. I have been a certified nurses assistant for 15 going on 16 years and i love taking care of people. i have worked at two nursing homes for three years each and at a behavior health for 9 years. I rather be able to be with a patient to give them my time and show them i am there for them
