The 31 years of my employment as a care giver I enjoyed meeting new clients and their family members. I have learned how to care for and respect the characteristic of this type of work. I became a care giver because at a very young age I felt a pull to help and serve people that was less fortunate than I was or that was elderly and sick. being a caregiver sets the stage for a unity that everyone shares, since everyone will experience sickness or death within their life time, rather it be the lost of a love one or sickness in the family. I have and have experienced several rewards and achievements throughout the 31 years of being a caregiver. The most important time is when a love one decease and the caregiver is there to comfort the family members of the deceased one. I was born on James Island lived there for the most of my life,I am an only child, graduate from Fort Johnson High in 1976, married three times the third is a charm CNA, Certified Teachers' Assistant , Certified Institutional Cook, had three children lost one in the USA Navy (Daughter) now I have two boys age 29 and 36, 8 grandchildren, I love Mission trips once a year given by my church, I love my church and I love the lord. I have traveled halfway around the world. I also enjoy reading, dancing and cooking. While I am not employed I am helping homeless women and children by sheltering them in my home. I help them find jobs and food to eat. this is my story to help and to care.
