What makes me a great caregiver is that I genuinely care about my clients and there needs. What I love about being a caregiver is that I know I'm offering a great service to the family and clients as well. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years and my greatest achievement was finishing school and becoming a dialysis technician as well as a caregiver . I feel that my experiences working for the hospital and skill nursing assistant living and adult daycare have made me a very patient ,nurturing, and wise caregiver.
I became a care giver because I wanted to give back in some way and to make life better for others. what I enjoy most about being a care giver is knowing that I provide a service that is needed, but also that what I do in some small way makes life better so others. I'am most proud of my personal achievement as a Mother because I now can pass on to my daughter what my Mother showed me about caring for others. I'am very compassionate about what I do, I love people from various backgrounds because you can always learn something new. Life in itself is a great history lesson and is forever changing.
I became a caregiver when I was still in the Philippines. My father had a heart surgery and I saw how the nurses and caregivers took care of my father. They became my inspiration. When I was still living in Illinois at first I took care of an older lady and later on I also took care of her husband, they became my "parents", it gives me a great deal of joy and fulfillment to see them get well, thrive and happy with the care that I provided to them. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Patient Care Technician, I also have a certificate in BLS (Basic Life Support) I have and extensive 8 years experience as a caregiver, 1 year nursing assistant in an assisted living facility and a 10 months experience as Patient Care Technician.

I became caregiver because I have passion for putting others first. Seeing someone happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worth. It all started when my step father became ill before God called him. It was hard on my mother, so I took care of him till the end, and I saw the happiness and love he felt during that time. After his passing, I decided to get my license in order to help putting the same happiness and love to someone in need. What I like about being a caregiver is to make small changes to someone everyday life and also watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter is enough to make a difference. My personal achievement am proud is putting myself in school to further my education in respiratory therapy. I'm respectful 31 old lady and very humble, calm person. A student and a lovely mother. Compassionate in nature and also like to associate myself with people. I enjoy helping people in order to feel good and expertise in pacifying and offering emotional cares. I like spending time with my family on my spare time and enjoy cooking.

My name is Gigi. I am have been caregiving for 11 years. My mother inspired me to becone a caregiver, (who has been nursing/caregiving for over 32 years) as I would watch her work long hours but also watched her bond she grew with people and how much of a difference she made in other peoples life. However I was able to give it a try first hand assisting her taking care of my grandmother around the clock and at that time I knew this was my calling.I love taking care of people and making them feel good.

Being a caregiver for over 10 years has taught me to have empathy and sympathy towards others. I pay attention to details as it relates to my senior clients. I am passionate about being a caregiver because senior citizens, to me, are the forgotten generation and I want them to feel loved and to know that their later days can be great. I enjoy giving seniors a better quality of life, I sing to them, dance with them and give them hugs on a regular. I am always honoured to hear that my voice and my presence creates a calm soothing atmosphere for my clients and their family. Being a caregiver is so rewarding in countless ways!!!
I have been a retail pharmacist in my community for over 17 years. My passion is simply helping others, no matter what point in their life is in need. I want to be able to give back to my community in a way that would be more self rewarding than my own profession....and that is TIME!!! This is something that I feel is extremely important and also a life lesson, especially in today's high technical world. I've always been a great people person and a great communicator, or else I would have not chosen my own profession. I am willing to help in anyway I can including transportation, light cleaning/cooking, helping with technology with our more mature clients, companionship, and of course any medication help/advice or concerns!!! I'm truelly here to fit my clients need.
