My parents are the only reason I've become a caregiver. Both parents had medical issues. My father had two strokes, occasionally seizures and dementia. After family couldn't take care of him because he needed 24 hour care, we had to put him in a nursing home. I've caught CNAs miss treating my dad and other residents.
