Four years ago I retired from nursing. Recently, I moved to Phoenix Arizona to be near family. I have one married daughter in Phoenix where I presently reside, and another married daughter in Peoria. My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping. I have been a caregiver for well over 20 Plus years. I have love and compassion for the elderly. As a child I was always close to my grandmother, when I became an adult and she got up in age. I moved back from out of town, to take care of her until she died at age 102 on Christmas Day . After the passing of my grandmother I started working as a home health care provider and showing that same love and compassion I had for my grandmother to other elderly clients. I believe in catering to the elderlies every need in their golden years they deserve to be treated with the utmost kindness and respect.

Hello, I would love to speak more about the position. I have experience as a caregiver. My grandfather spent his last years living with me. He suffered from serious memory issues/health conditions and needed a full time caregiver, so I am very familiar with that struggle of needing 24/7 care. I am incredibly patient, reliable and find joy in helping others. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I love to help the folks who need help during their difficult time, I like to care of older people, I use to care of my grandparents, so i use to know how to take care of seniors .

I know when they grow old they need somebody to listen, talk and just be there for them. What I am proud of is making them smile and help them at the same time. I have five kids and eight grand kids. I don't have my parents anymore but to me taking care of anybody that needed help is like taking care of my parents. I am very easy to get along with. If I can be given the opportunity to prove myself.

I became a caregiver because I thought taking care of the elderly was just a good deed to the community.
