Hello. Here is a little about me and the reasons I will be a great caregiver for you or a loved one. I have raised two daughters with disabilities whom have grown up to be independent with their own children now. My passion for caring for people with special needs all started there. In 2007 after suffering from a major stroke my mother was in need of someone to care for her. I was blessed to be in a situation to do so for many years. I am dependable, trustworthy and will provide the best care possible for your loved one. Additionally I will give them companionship and treat them with dignity and respect. I am registered with the state of CA. I have completed and passed CA caregiver training.
I became a caregiver because it's my passion!! I love to please others so they can live the best quality of life possible. I love the social interaction that is also involved with caregiving. My biggest achievement thus far that I'm most proud of (besides my my 2 children) is being noticed for my hard work and dedication at my last job. I was promoted to Program Coordinator and was then in charge of 9-12 employees all while getting to still do hands on works with my clients. My father was diagnosed with bladder cancer and we moved into his house so he could live the rest of his days at home on hospice. Those days were tough although VERY rewarding! I lost him 8/22/2011. I am 43 years old and a single mother of 2 ages 21 and 16. My daughter still lives in Minnesota attending MSU in Elementery Education. She graduates next fall and is hopefully moving to Arizona as well. I was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota. I decided that the subzero temps and blizzards were just not for me anymore, so I sold my home and moved to Prescott Valley! I had been here on vacation before and fell in love and knew that one day I would move here. I just moved here in June 2015
I'm a very caring compassionate person. My life is all about helping others whether through care giving or life experience . I have been in the care giving field in some capacity for over 15 years. I believe the elderly and disabled have a special job on this planet to teach patience and remind others to slow down. If I ever need help in the future I hope that someone is there to assist me.

I chose to be a caregiver after my grandmother passed away in 2011 My grandmother raised me since I was a toddler and I took care of her when her health start failing and slowly deteriorated I'm very hardworking, dependable and reliable I work great under pressure and work well and get along very easily with co workers and clients I have a close bond with clients that I work with and my first priority is making sure the clients are taken care of and safe
I have been in the medical care field for over 11 years. I enjoy caring for seniors in their homes. I recently cared for an elderly lady in her 90's. Since she needed 24/7 care, her daughter hired me to be her full-time caregiver. I became her MPOA ( Medical Power of Attorney) It was my duty to recruit and hire other caregivers for full time care, to assist me with the hours she required. I enjoyed every minute of being there for her. I feel that every senior should be treated with respect and honor, they rely on us as caregivers to be on time and on task. I am honest and trustworthy. I can't think of anything that I love to do more than spending time with, and caring for, someone's loved one...when they aren't able to be there.
I have 10 + years of care giving to alsheimer patients, lung cancer, after knee and back surgery, several cancer patients and parkinson patients. I prefer not to live in but will consider small periods of livein time. I am very compassionate, giving, loving and good at helping patients pass time in a rewarding manner. I am asked back to several homes after previous care giving, therefore, i consider my self to be an above average caregiver. REFERENCES UPON REQUEST.

I have been a caregiver for older adult women since 2013. Not only do I enjoy helping and making someone else's life easier and more comfortable, I appreciate being in their company, as they usually have many interesting life stories to share, and I love listening! I am patient and kind, and love to laugh! Also, I am a firm believer in exercise and always strive to impart the importance of it on my clients. I am trained in several health promotion workshops for older adults, related to balance, memory and exercise for those with Arthritis and I am happy to say that I have succeeded in motivating some of my clients to get up and go for a walk, more than they were willing to do when I first met them. I have excellent references and 3 recent background checks.
