Hello, everyone I am great caregiver and I say that because caring for a human being is a wonderful joy to have them comfortable in there home. I became a caregiver because it remind me of my older sister and younger brother; the care of helping them out day to day for 18+ years. I master patient and understanding moods of emotions.
When I was in high school my grandparents became the primary caregivers for my great-grandmother. At first it was not to large of a task to care for my grandmother but eventually we all needed to step in and do our part to aid in her care. Being only 16 years old naturally I was very nervous and skeptical about some of the things I would need to do but I loved my grandmother very much and knew she needed me most in those moments. Aiding in the care of my grandmother is the reason I chose to work in this field. The reward I receive from my job is seeing the joy in my client's knowing they are being cared for with dignity and respect. One thing I am very proud of myself for is being able to see beyond a person's basic need and being able to form a bond with each and every person I come in contact with. I believe I am an excellent caregiver because I am compassionate, patient, trustworthy, reliable and most importantly I take the time to listen.
