My name is Margarita I am 44 years old. I am reliable, dependable, Attentiveness, trustworthiness, patient, caring and loving. I enjoy working with people and being able to care for them. My goal someday is to be a Nurse. I enjoy working as a caregiver because i enjoy working with people and being able to help them in their daily needs and companionship. My personal achievement have been that i graduated and became a Medical Assistant and continue to further my education for my nursing degree.

The reason why I became a caregiver is because 10 years ago my mother-in-law got really sick and someone needed to take care of her. I love to take my job very seriously and I also love taking care of my patients like if they were my family.I like that my patience feels happy with me and comfortable with me as well.

Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing.As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

a good caregiver is attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. A patient, especially the elderly, needs constant care and attention. It's the caregiver's job, therefore, to be attuned to those needs even if the patient doesn't or is unable to communicate them. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where i have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I Love Making a Difference in Someone's Life. I take on the responsibility and stay with it because i realize that I'm making a difference in a loved one's life.

I've been a care giver for 20yrs and I have witnessed many residents/ clients improve their quality of life because of this care. I am currently waiting to return to the next semester of school, so that I can further my nursing goals. I am the program manager of the facility I work for. I have maintained this position for the last 6+ years. I have worked with people with different areas of intellectual disabilities from mild, moderate, profound, and severe disabilities. I manage the appointments of all 6 residents in the home year round. Attend all meetings and ensure their quality of care is met on a daily basis.
