I am a 59 year old lady. I am an LVN with over 2yrs experience in a nursing home facility. I love being a nurse because I love to help people who were once upon a time independent; carry out some difficult task they cannot do due to illness or anything that may have stolen their independence from them. To see those priceless smiles on their faces, makes me feel fulfilled that I am helping improve the life of someone else. I am very compassionate. My personality just makes everyone around me happy. Working alone doesn't really bother me. I don't just look for direct solutions to problems, but always have the bigger picture in the back of my mind. I am confident, assertive and competent. I easily overcome every challenge am faced with. I do my best at whatever I do. I don't give up easily no matter what's the odds are. I strive for perfection. I am always willing to learn . I became a Licensed Vocational Nurse because I enjoy being a part of the health care team. I also come from a big family who are doctors and nurses. I enjoy making a difference in other peoples' lives and I enjoy communicating with others. My greatest achievement is being able to practice in the US as an active LVN.
