My goal is to empower individuals to age with Grace, Dignity and purpose. I am a CNA, an Inhome Health Aid and have worked closely with hospice on many occasions. Background check and DMV record plus 5 letters of recommendations from previous clients are available on request. Am available for full or part time work. Carry malpractice insurance. Love what I do and consider it a calling not a job. Thanks for considering me Diane My teacher at the CNA Academy I attended said she would want me to care for her own family before anyone else in my large CNA class. Am very proud of that and goes back to my capacity to care deeply about my clients. When I am caring for a client they are the most important person on the planet to me.

What makes me a great care giver is having a lot of patience. I am compassionate and truly care about the people I help. I found caretaking came naturally, it found me in a way and I've enjoyed it since. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is bringing joy to those who have a difficult time or who are not able at all to go and find joy on their own. I am proud of my latest equestrian challenge of training my own Arab for an endurance race and finishing with the first group.
I am a very compassionate and understanding caregiver. I listen to the needs of my clients and can give reference on the two clients I faithfully cared for for long term. I have worked for over twenty years as a caregiver, before I was paid to do it. I cared for my disabled sister who had and have seizures and still does rely completely on others for everything. I cared for my mothers infected wounds from diabetes and also her arthritis plus checked her blood sugar and keept her from going into diabetic shock. I can deduce diabetic shock and can recognize an infected wound. I know how to work a g-t-tube and change depends for adults. Plus I have experience log rolling and using a Hoyt lift. I have cared for a quadriplegic through Maxim Health Care as a respite care worker when I first turned eighteen years old. This care allowed me to learn the lift training, feeding tube usage, log rolling and also administering breathing treatments. I am also IHSS certified.
Im a up beat, positive caregiver. I had two patients in fresno ca but now im looking for long term or short term work. I like to help and the patient is comfortable and surly can rely on me. I can do evening or early morning calls. I believe treating people that need help can be easy if you just listen to them.

I'm always there to meet my residents needs what attracted me to be a caregiver was becaus I knew I always wanted to be a nurse ans to work my way up I needed to start from the bottom and work my way up. I enjoy making people happy ans I enjoy listening to people's life stories ans I enjoy learning new things while I'm at work. My most proud achievement would be becoming a CNA while still a student in high school .

I became a caregiver because of my grandmother when I was younger I had to take care of her while she was on hospice the few months that she had left to live I think I am a great caregiver because I spend time with my patients they're not just my patients their companions they need someone to sit there and talk to you and laugh with and have fun what I enjoy most about caregiving now is being able to see the smile on their faces when they get all excited
I started off by babysitting children, I took care of my nieces and nephews and along with them I started babysitting their friends and a mother from one of the children wanted me to care for her grandmother, since then I realized caring and nurturing is my passion. Being able to help as much as possible to the ones who need it most brings me joy. Everyone is caring for the children that I feel like our elders are pushed aside .. My compassionate, loving, caring yet strong personality makes me a great caregiver.
I have had experience with care giving for my grandparents. My grandmother had diabetes, cancer, and heart problems and my grandfather had cancer and heart problems. They both lived into their late eighties early nineties and I kept them in the home. I am able to keep house, cook, bathe, drive to appointments, run errands, send the mail to the family, and anything else required, I will also watch movies, read, walk, spend time outdoors, and anything else that interests the individual. I am family oriented. I am married with three children 8,9, and 12. I would have to say that my children are my greatest personal achievement. Next would be my education. I have degrees in criminology, humanities, sociology, psychology, as well as units in ECE. I have an excellent work history in which every job I have worked will say that I am an exemplary employee, responsible, hardworking, reliable, and punctual. A copy of resume will be provided upon request.
