I am the most compassionate, patient, empathetic, kind, caring, hard working individual you will ever meet! I have enjoyed working in the medical field for 15+ years until i began caring for my loved one for 15 years who had dementia and later Alzheimers and wished to remain in her own home so i honored this wish and i found a new calling. Having a medical background and knowledge of diseases and symptoms and medications has been of benefit working as a caregiver and helps me to assess an individuals care needs as i always give 200% and strive to provide the best care possible.
I Am a very honest fun loving Caring Lady, I enjoy putting that smile on everyone's face, I have always been very interested in learning all about my patients life and experiences I find it to be very fascinating, I went into the nursing field because I love caring for the elderly. I enjoy most about being a caregiver when I see the smile on my patients face as I walk into the door, I love talking about their life and their family history, the patient is the most important. My personal achievement was when I was caring for a gentleman in San Jose he had just had a major back surgery they glued his nerves together so he was pretty much paralyzed when i started caring for him, the doctors told him that he would not walk again, well I was with him for almost a year in a half I did physcial therapy with him every single day we went on walks etc.. I am very proud to say this gentleman is walking, dancing and driving he is now 82 years of age..

Loving, caring, and a true desire to assist a person who has found themselves in need. My ability to care for, cook, clean and ADL chores is rewarding for me and will in turn make life somewhat easier for them. I can't lift over 50 lbs, however I certainly make up for that in other areas. I'm dedicated, loyal and have always had a strong work ethic. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, gardening and DIY projects.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others that need help. I have helped others in different ways throughout the years, mission trips, feeding the homeless and volunteer work. It is a joy to be able to give to others that need it and to be able to be a companion for them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is finally being able to go to school and get my Medical Assisting Degree. I have waited a long time for this due to the death of my husband 18 years ago. I had to raise 3 small children and put my career on hold. I finished my degree in Medical Assisting and went on to earn my AA Degree as well. I am a dedicated, reliable and responsible worker. It is my joy to help the less fortunate and give them what they cannot get on their own.
I am naturally caring and compassionate person; So doing just so will give me sense of accomplishment that I am doing something good. A personal achievement for me was when one of the toughest person I am taking care of stated that I just made him feel important and apologizes for being mean and asked me to take care of him from that day on. And when I simply cover them with blanket while sleeping and says to you " Your such a sweet person and Thank you for taking care of me every night ". And that feeling of rewardness when simply you put a smile and genuine laugh when they see you. That is an accomplishments for me, at the end of the day, I go to sleep smilling, thinking I just made someone's day. I am hardworking, caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, dependable, reliable and flexible. Because not everyone can do things on their own and I want to be able to help. I enjoy helping others do things that they can't do on their own. I am proud that I took the time to further my education so that I can better help others. I am full of life and compassionate. I am very loving and understanding. It takes a lot of patience to be able to care for someone other than yourself. But luckily I have that patience. I've been a caregiver for quite sometime now and want to do it for many more years to come.
