I have worked in private care the last 5 years and have worked as a nanny for 12 years. I am very independent and require little supervision, however, I work very well as a team and believe that excellent healthcare involves collaborating with other healthcare staff. I am a self-starter and have a strong work ethic. I am currently working on earning my RN-BSN. I enjoy playing board games, traveling, sports, hikes, and learning new things.

I am a graduate of BSNursing in my country and when I got here being a caregiver is the closest to the career path I want to pursue. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse here in California. I like being a caregiver because naturally I am a caring person. I do this job because someday when I grow old I would want someone to take care of me too. Helping the elderly is such an achievement because with their limited strength I can be their assistant in order to live a good quality of life and still get to do the activities they normally do. I am 36 yrs old with 2 loving children. I am from the Philippines and I came here in America 4 yrs ago. Caregiving has been my first job and it has brought me to different places and I've met a lot of wonderful people and family through this job. I would like to be able to help the families out there who are in need of help in taking care of their parents. There are so many things that we would like to do for our parents but because of the busy life and other priorities we need someone to be there for them when we cannot. I am willing to take part in giving the best care to your parents and make sure that they still get a good quality of life that they deserve.
