Though I am currently certified as a Medical Assistant, I had volunteered at Samaritan House Medical clinic, later became a paid employee.I have several past years of experience as Nursing assistant and caregiver. As a caregiver I provide exceptional care with great understanding and compassion for all clients: I have been in this field for many years, and absolutely enjoy the work I do. I am a friendly, and loving person who attends to the up most care needed in order to provide the safety and security for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, HIV, and other disabilities: I have worked with clients, relatives, supervisors, and other medical staffing to ensure I do my job with a clear understanding and personal needs.
I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to meet new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh!
I recently started caregiving and truly wish I would have started doing it a long time ago. I'm a very patient person and I like working with elderly. I was raised to be very respectful and I feel it doesn't take much to be kind and help your elder. I'm very prompt and I like schedules. I'm very clean and I have pretty good skills in the kitchen. I will treat your loved ones like my own
