I have chosen my career as a caregiver because I get an enormous amount of satisfaction from helping and caring for others. I have been in the Healthcare field for over ten years and have experienced pretty much every kind of situation plausible in the home health care setting. I first started caregiving in 2010 and fell in love with it, I love to take care of people and being there in time of their need. It brightens my day to see smiles on peoples faces and i can never leave work without seeing that smile. I am working on being a nurse in the future and this is a great start for me. I have been with clients who need as little as companionship to those who are on hospice. When i started this job I never stopped doing it. Because I love what I do. My name is Isabell, I think I'm a great caregiver because I'm loving, understanding passionate for helping others. I became a caregiver when my father had cancer and myself and my sister were the only one taking care of him and I see the hardship that people go through when they're ill. I enjoy making people feel good , having them smile that's the best part . My personal achievement that I'm proud of did I made a promise to myself that I would always keep moving forward and helping others. And finishing my schooling to became a CMA.

I first decided to be a caregiver after helping my parents care for my grandparents and then myself caring for my uncle and mother. I absolutely love what I do! I love helping people in particular seniors. I am very passionate and determined that whomever I care for will enjoy their time around me.My ultimate goal is to make sure every client I come in contact with remembers me, keeps their dignity intact, and no matter their situation making sure they can smile through it. I'm most proud of the fact that every client I have had has wanted and kept me until circumstance no longer permitted. Hello, Firt of all i am glad to work with elderly people, nowing that i can be a help to them makes me happy. The reason why i decided to become a caregiver is because my grandpa is really sick and well i saw him struggling with his life by himself and i started helping him out and he liked to have my company. Once he told me their is no point in living at my age, and got me thinking.... I want to help him out. Now he likes me being around him and every elderly person i have taken care of were glad with my job. So that being said, i really like working and being around with elderly people. I learn new stuff with them.

Growing up as part of a big extended family taught me a great lesson about taking care of one another. My biggest responsibility was to make sure that my grandparents got everything they need and I remember that I used to look forward to run to them whenever I got home from school. Eversince then I found myself taking care of people. . I have the passion for it. I am very dedicated to what I do. I am loyal and passionate and at the end of the day, I believe clients under my care should be comfortable and happy and most importantly to feel safe and secure.

I have loved and enjoyed my profession since I was 16 years old when I became a CNA while in high school. I've always known what I be doing for a living because of my love to care for people who needed assistant. I am currently enrolled in college to obtain my nursing license so that i can continue to help people in need.

In 2009 my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. In 2010 she had a stroke, an because of the disorder,she had loss of memory and other mental abilities severe enough to interfere with her daily life. I moved back to Ohio and moved in with her. When I moved in she didn't have the ability to do anything on her own. What I love about caregiving is just really being able to help a person in need. In 2014 I in-rolled at Bryman College for medical assisting and the school closed down 140 hrs into 200 hrs left at my externship site. I was determined to get into the health care field, so I enrolled into a new school and completed the program again. I've been doing in-home care for awhile and I love it. It took me awhile to find out what I wanted to do with my life, but after what me and my family went through with my grandmother, I find great fulfillment in my career choice in the health care field.
