By showing both empathy and compassion, caregivers should let the client they are caring to know that they care about them or the person and want to do what they can to help them. To me, A \"Good caregivers\" are those who naturally have an urge to help others. Often times, they are people who have always placed a priority on helping other people. They want to make the world a better place and they do it with one home care patient at a time. Becoming a good home caregiver isn't something that will necessary happen immediately, but if the basic qualities are there, those people can develop their skills over time to become great!!!!

I became a caregiver first by caring for my grandmother, I enjoyed helping her. I like to make elderly people happy. I've had a current CNA certifact for 15 + years, I currently work for a hospital in maternity. I float to all different departments throughout the hospital, and I work with a variety of different patients with separate levels of care.
