I became a caregiver in August 2009 for my father, Brian. After a series of tests my father was diagnosed with early - stage of cancer. I have always taken care of my father because my mother was never around to provide support to the family. His condition is still in the early stages, but I am worried about the future. This situation brought my father and I closer. His condition has made me realize that this is career move that I wanted to peruse. I am not a caregiver by career but by choice. I am a caregiver that truly cares about helping others and want to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. I am caring, punctual, respectful, outgoing, honest, patient, professional and organized.

I'm responsible, reliable, good listener , loving ,caring person and most of all patience. My experience in hospitality industry lead me to this work, where I was able to help and volunteer to a group of seniors who come and eat in our restaurant. The part I enjoy most is listening to their story especially if their trying hard to remember and try to help them through it. When I was growing up, I would watch soccer with my siblings every weekends and we used to play soccer in the yard. I joined my high school soccer team ( Bethany High school) .I have loved it ever since. Besides soccer, I love sky diving, traveling ,and indoor games. I developed the love for taking care of people in need because in 2018 my best friend had a car accident that disabled her . She became disabled and bed ridden so I offered to take care of her during hard times, unfortunately she passed on, may her soul Rest In Peace. Later I ventured into the caregiving field and so far I have loved working in this field. I have grown in my confidence, compassion, experience, dependability, trustworthiness and patience when dealing with my clients I take care of. I enjoy making a difference each day of my life and spreading love and support to those who need it.
