I am a caring individual with approximately six years of direct patient care and emergency medical care experience. I am attracted to being a caregiver due to wanting to care for people and furthering my career in the field I want to work in. I am cardiopulmonary resuscitation certified as well and understand medical conditions, medications, medical terminology and direct patient needs when it counts the most.
My traits of being an active listener and having a comforting personality always allowed me to develop a great bond between my residents and myself. I became a caregiver/nurse due to my natural tendency of always offering a helping hand to those that needed it. My personal achievemens are always those "thank yous" I received when my resident would be discharged from a nursing home and their comments towards me telling me "thank you for taking care of me."
I enjoy taking care of people. I love to work hard to make people happy.... I can prepare meals and light house cleaning laundry, medication and bathing and hair grooming and transportation..... I am CPR certified At this point My availablety is Sunday and Monday after 2pm and Tuesday and Wednesday all day
I feel like caregiving was something I was born to do. I really enjoy to get to know new people and help them with the tasks they need help with. I find satisfaction in caregiving as a job because it is such a rewarding feeling. I was raised to always be loving and caring of others. I have worked with Individuals that display outburst behavior. I have been working with individuals that are mentally disabled for 11 years and that has taught me to be patient and kind. Being able to help families that need help really makes me feel like I'm doing a job that is really important and makes me want to always do the best job I can do.
I am a very friendly caring person I believe that helps me be a great caregiver. What attracted me to be a caregiver was helping others I've been in the medical field for two years. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is providing the support and care the family needs. A personal achievement I have accomplished is going back to school to further my education in the medical field.
I became a CNA in 2010 and continued to work as a nurse assistant in retirement homes and I loved working there because I connected with the patients and always made them comfortable. I later on started working in the in home care services which I did well in given my background experience. I look forward to becoming a part of the healthcare team as soon as possible. Thank you
I am 22 years old Currently attending COS aspiring to be a nurse with in the next couple of years. MY NAME IS MARIA, I BELIEVE TO BE A GREAT CAREGIVER. I FIRST STARTED AS A CAREGIVER WHEN MY SON WAS A VICTIM OF A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT, HE WAS BADLY INJURED WITH HEAD TRAUMA , HE WAS 4 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME. IT WAS VERY HARD FOR ME BUT I HAD TO HELP MY SON, SO I LEARNED HOW TO DO RANGE OF MOTION WITH HIM. I LEARNED HOW A GASTRONOMY TUBE SITE WAS TO BE CLEANED AND HOW TO FEED HIM AND GIVE MEDICATION THROUGH HIS G-TUBE AND FLUSH IT, HOW TO TRANSFER HIM FROM THE BED TO THE WHEELCHAIR AND THE WHEELCHAIR TO THE CAR AND THEN I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF MY GRANDFATHER WHO HAD DEMENTIA AND GOUT. I ENJOY CARING FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE BECAUSE I LIKE MAKING OTHERS SMILE AND MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE. BEING A CAREGIVER IS SOMETHING I LIKE TO DO HELPING THEM WITH THEIR EVERYDAY LIFE. A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT I AM PROUD OF IS EARNING MY CNA LICENSE.

I've Been a caregiver since 2007 I worked in a convalescent home, I did that for 2 years. the thing about Care giving or any nursing field you have to love your job and you have to have the patience. After working at the convalescent home I decided I'd like to Take care of somebody one on one. So that's when I applied for Central Valley regional center it's mainly children with disabilities. I stayed in this field because this is what I love to do I like to have conversations with the alderley they have the best storys. On top of that I Have bathed, cooked, clean, Gave mads if I had to I really enjoy all of it and I feel like this is the right job for me. This year my children go to school full time and I'm just looking for more patients that I could take care of while they're at school. I am qualified to work for in home support of service. I have my first aid and CPR and I have a lot of experience. And whenever I'm not working I love to spend time with my family I have a six-year-old boy and a 13 year old girl We have a beautiful home and we love taking trips when we have the time.
