I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time. I love being in the company of them. I absolutely admire the stories and the way they did things.

Hello my name is Venisha Briggs, and what makes me a great caregiver is I let my clients be as independent as possible whether it's bathing themselves or just pouring a cup of coffee over the past 5 years I learned a lot of my clients loved to do so much for themselves no matter what they circumstances were. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I love helping people and keeping people happy and enjoy seeing people feel good about having someone who's there for them,so I took on this profession why not get paid for something you love doing right? I truly beleive i was made for this work..i have 5 years paid experience and 2 years non paid ..i began this work by simply helping out an elderly neighbor of mines years ago.. I couldnt help myself. I started out by preparing breakfast lunch and dinner and bringing it to my friend/neighbor and it just grew on me....i began to see a positive difference in her moods and the affect i had on her..i continue to keep my clients happy and eager to begain each day with a smile.
