Hello! I take pride in what I do because I genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of all of my patients. I am very confident in my work ethic, mainly because of all the years of experience I have. I've worked at multiple nursing homes, starting back in 2016. The most important thing to me is building long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. A little background information about me is I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and also CPR & First Aid Certified. I am so also OSHA certified by the state of Connecticut. I'm a non-smoker, and I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I'm friendly, caring, responsible, reliable, fun, and people-oriented. I have plenty of experience, as I have previous working history in home-care and nursing homes. My help would direct to, but not limited to, household chores/cleanup, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, help with daily activities, grooming, car transportation, grocery shopping, running errands, etc. I understand how important it is for families to feel secure and safe when selecting the right caregiver for their specific family needs, and I am confident I will be a great fit. Let me know if this sounds like a fit for you and your family, and we can discuss further!

My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-

My name is Yolanda and I've been a caregiver for over 31 years. I'm a CNA, Developmental Service Worker. I love to take care of people. I work for the state of CT. I also work for Oak Hill. I work with individuals that have intellectual disabilities. I love what I do because helping someone with a disability is so rewarding to the individual and yourself as a caregiver. I have worked in the healthcare field for many years. I also worked with children in pre- school for 8 years ages 2.5- 5 years old. I was lucky to be a single foster care mom for 2 years. I loved that experience. It not only taught me how we fortunate ones shouldn't take things or people for granted but it also taught my children to be thankful for what they have. No matter how big or small. I'm currently employed and working with a young man 18 and has a diagnose of Autism. He's very high function and I work from in his home.( in Home Support). I also work in a group home for the State Of CT with 4 behavioral individuals. I enjoy my job. KRISTEN S. CZAPLICKI CNA, PCA, HHA, ABI Specialist, CPC, CVT . To me, this is not a job to make money in order to retire; although, this IS a goal as a society as a whole. I, on the other hand, have seen such difference in the littlest comment, action, remembering something VERY little, and how much it changes patients outlook, maybe for day, week, next 5 mins., anything makes a difference in other words. So throwing $$ out the window, my joy and goal in my life 1st this point is to make people nearing the end of their lives or who just need care 24/7 and are COMPLETELY with it and extremely intelligent. My patients have met presidents, won Nobel Peace Prizes, some some INCREDIBLE life achievements that blow me away. It is an HONOR and PLEASURE to work with these fabulous patients and listen to their stories. Granted, they forget who I am the minute I turn the corner, but for the hour the patient remembered memories obviously not wanted to be forgotten, I MATTERED to that person, and if it helps them become more at ease, I will do this for the test of my living life. I will not have anyone when I am old and nearing my end, so even a stranger makes a HUGE difference and is like to be that difference for those people right now. There has got to be another reason I am STILL on earth, maybe this may be why. I get VERY attached though and honestly care about making life better for people who have been forgotten, not only by family but our SOCIETY. Let's CHANGE THIS! #alzheimerscare #elderlyhousing #applerehab #Babci #dementiacare #endoflifecare #hospice #caregiversupport #caregiveralzheimers
