I am HHA certified. When I take on a family I want to really KNOW the folks in my care. It makes for meeting their needs better, and provides an atmosphere of trust and well being. I have visited " Seniors" ever since I was a little girl, with my mother; such fascinating stories! I have worked in the medical fields and in an elder care business for over 10 years. I know how vital it is for all humans to be validated by love and attention. One of my accomplishments was to be present, and give assurance to a client that did want to "go". She died peacefully, listening to her favorite music , while I held her hand! I consider that a great honor. I am a college graduate. Graduated with honors at St. Petersburg College in Allied Health , ( Radiology ). In my youth , I was a laboratory technician. Treating and helping folks and trying to make them smile, has apparently what I have done all my life . I still consider it an honor.
I appreciate the wit and wisdom of Seniors and enjoy working with them. I volunteer at Senior Friendship centers and also teach Zumba gold classes for active older adults (dancing to music is like exercise in des guise). I am good at motivating seniors to get out and do things they like to do. I am a Nationally Certified Activity Director. I can help with light house keeping, love to cook, help with errands, etc. I am a caring and honest person who enjoys doing things to improve LIVES!

I recently lost my client of 4+ years... and looking for new opportunities. Here is something about me: I am certified Home Health Aide (HHA) seeking private client who desires quality individual caregiving and companionship services. I have 10 years (3 in EU and 7 in USA) experience in providing compassionate personal assistance and care to seniors. People consider me kindhearted, completely reliable and very pleasant to be with. I have excellent references from every single one of my previous private and agency clients. All my certificates (FBI background check, HHA, Alzheimer, CPR, AED, immunization, tests, etc.) are current. I am married, 5'7", 135 lbs, healthy, legal US resident with EU college degree. I moved to Sarasota (to a condo close to Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and Bay Club) from central Europe in 2006 to join my husband who is now retired management consultant. I have a car, thoroughly enjoying taking total care of people, shopping, walking, children, cooking, cleaning, singing, pets, dancing, smiling... I am positive, sensitive, giving and easy to get along person. I can work any hours and also team up with other caregivers. If you or your loved one is considering an emphatic family-like caregiving and companionship, please respond. Thank you. I won’t disappoint you!
