What makes me a great caregiver Iam very observant and attentive I love working with people. I like to learn new things and I am very helpful. I have been a caregiver for my step dad who has passed on and I work for a company in gainesville, florida for a short time where I worked with a young lady for 12 hrs and an elderly lady that was in a wheelchair where I had to make lunch or dinner sometime breakfast, help keep the house clean, help with bathing and I was also there companion

I have worked in the school district as substitute teacher for four years. Before that I worked as a private Nanny who also did home care work with other family members in the households. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.

I have worked with a variety of clients that have depression, multiple sclerosis, Down syndrome, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and elder care. I was attracted to caregiving because I really enjoy helping others and making a difference in people's lives. I enjoy the relationships that have developed in my experience with being a CNA. I never thought that I would be able to do this type of work, and by having an open mind to try something new, I discovered that helping others is quite intuitive to me as well as extremely rewarding.

The two qualities in being a caregiver is having compassion and empathy. I have them both. I am a lovely caregiver. I have experience from working with my mother over night. Each of her patients love me, I love them as well. I love being a caregiver because being around the elderly makes my heart melt. They have a sense of completion, lived life, and wise as can be. I am looking for light housekeeping and companion work only no heavy lifting at all looking to stay in the Hudson Route 52 New Port Richey area I won't go to Holiday and I'm going to go to Spring Hill just the local areas and if it's local it's like $10 an hour instead of 15 I have my own vehicle background check went through okay I don't drink smoke or do drugs and I drive I also do pet sitting for seniors

I can help cook, help with housecleaning, laundry, errands, shopping, transportation to any kind of appointment, and give compassionate and loving companionship. I love providing home care giving services to those that would otherwise would not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
