What made me become a caregiver was when I was younger my dad took care of my grandfather and I used to help out it was nice being able to help him and keep him going while he was here. I come from a big family my mother had 10 kids. I was always the helper of my mother. I took care of my siblings and it stuck with me. Just the comfort i give my clients and families keeps me going. Because I'm into the person not only into my work, I really love being creative meaning always finding was to use arts ,crafts, puzzles plus I'm alert concerning the needs of the person I'm a great listener I always remember this saying treat people the way you would like to be treated and it will come back to you.
