I think patience and compassion are essential. This is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. Additionally, you need endurance and physical ability to support patients with certain tasks. Not only that but you have to have a passion for this work . I started taking care of my grandparents at a very young age until they passed and I immediately joined the healthcare field at the age of 18. I love what I do I have been doing it for many years

Soy Cubana con 6 anos como residente hice mi escuela en el 2014 he trabajado con varios pacientes haciendole su comidas , llevandolos a sus citas medicas, ayudandolos a banarse entre otras actividades, en estos momentos trabajo en East Ridge Village que es un hermoso lugar para personas de la tercera edad, como houskiping pues mi ingles no es muy fluido aunque me puedo comunicar. Tengo 3 anos de experiencia, he trabajado para una misma agencia y he mantenido mis mismos pacientes, hablo ruso,frances ,espanol y me comunico bastante bien en ingles, soy muy puntual y dedicada , tengo gran experiencia en demencia y con personas paraplejicas, soy HHA y recien termine mi entrenamiento como CNA ya aprobe el examen escrito y estoy en espera para hacer mi examen practico

What makes me a great caregiver? My love and compassion for the elderly. I enjoy being the best caregiver there is and love what I do. I enjoy talking and going out for walks or even to the park. My concern is not only being a caregiver but being part of the family and caring like if you where my own parent or grandparent. I have the patience and love that any family would give there own everyday. At the end of the day I make sure you are well taken care of before I walk out your door daily and make you feel like I'm part of your family. I also enjoy companionship and talking and hearing about back in the days of my ancestors. I am a certify caregiver with many references and a passing background. I promise you will never be disappointed and I'm 10 yrs experience with dementia, cancer and stroke patient. I have have all the compassion and patient for the job I do. I love my field of work.
