I am a Care Giver with 7 year of experience. I have worked with a diversity of patients in Geriatric and special need adults and kids. Lately with Hospice Geriatric. I am a responsible and reliable Certified Nurse Assistant and Phlebotomist. I speak Spanish and English , have my own transportation.

Hello, my name is Nick and I'm a Registered Nurse. I have worked in the medical field for a little over 4 years. I began working in the field as a traveling phlebotomist. I would go to a lot of nursing homes and assisted living facilities to draw blood and pick up samples. I loved interacting with my regulars at the assisted living facilities and eventually I left that job and started working at my favorite assisted living facility, so I could work with my regulars on a daily basis. I love to work with the elderly, because I believe that they still have a lot to offer the community in the way of knowledge and wisdom. I currently work as a registered nurse at ORMC.

I been a caregiver for 10 years now, I been working in ALF specializing in alzheimer and memory care patients. I had a medical background. I took medical assistant for almost 2years but didnt take the board exam, but I was a certified phlebotomist which i let my certification expired. I have a background in pharmacology and CNA which expired also. I am a medtech which i can assist giving medicine as a caregiver. I just love taking care of the elderly specially who those in need. I am very compassionate and i make people smila happy everyday. I wouldnt be working in this field for 8 years of experience if i did not love what i do.

1. What makes you a great caregiver? -I love providing home caregiving service to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their face is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. Why did you become a caregiver - Since a very young age I have always been interested in spending time with older people. I love to help and make people smile. I completed my nursing studies in 2002 and it was at that point I realized that caring for people, especially the elderly was my calling. 3. What do you like about being a caregiver? - meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? - I'm a Licensed practical nurse in State of Florida. I love being a nurse and taking care of people who needs my help where I can utilize my nursing skills and years of experience.

I became a Caregiver, because I love people, also making a difference is not just a saying for me, it's knowing that I have impacted someone with the love and treatment that they need and more. Providing excellence service to the best of my ability is very important to me. My strong point of being a caregiver is communicating, being accountable with what is needed, I enjoy cooking, understanding the need of the patient and family is important to me. I hope to make a difference in lives other in the most positive way.
