Health Caregiver / CNA Inspired by taking care of my parents at home until they passed . My mother passed 6 years ago and recently my father .2 years after losing my mother. I have a great personality especially around the elderly !My passion is helping others in there daily routines in order for them to be independent in there own surroundings to feel safe in there own home is part of there wellness. I enjoy cooking for others Our roles in being a caregiver is to help others and the family members knowing that there loved ones are been cared for .I am someone who has a very passionate heart . I am a caregiver for 30 +yrs.i love what i do, though challenging at times i treasure my work.i was the baby of 4 my Mom had a massive stroke and as the baby of the 4 i, along with my husband cared for her at home. She was total care and i had 2 small children at the time as i said it was challenging, i reflect on that time as a privilege because i had a wonderful mother and she cared for me as a child when i couldn't care for my self and now it was my turn to return the love and care she gave me as a child.In addition , my husband and i also care for my father as well as both of his parents. As i said before it was a privilege to care for all our parents that is one of my greatest achievements.

Love working in health care industry. Helping peaople. Took care of my father in law with Alzheimer and my mother in law with dementia. Currently working in home care as CNA. I am an RN from Slovakia. However never got my license because of the language barrier and also having my children. Beside nursing I'm very busy soccer mom as well.

I became a caregiver around 1979, always felt needed wanting to help the elderly people of all kinds. I enjoy being around people when it comes to helping the sick. I will be their for them if needed. You have to be patient understanding caring know their needs and provide lots of TLC. I took care of a elderly for 14 years, she was in a wheel chair when I met her. also a heavy drinker. Within that 14years of my caring for her I was able to help her family and the client to make a decision for the client to under go knee surgery. She was able to walk for 6 years which was joyful time for her. Few more years after that she was able to give up drinking with a little of my help. I was very happy to see this achievement. The family was proud to see this accomplishment and thank me for my assistance. This made me feel so happy and wonderful that I was able to be their for them. I am a understanding and caring person when I can help someone that needs my services I will be their. I also enjoy traveling being around my grandchildren, love my church, I love to keep up with my landscape, enjoy exercising, and focus on my health.

Being a caregiver is not just a job to me, it is my passion. I believe I am a wonderful caregiver, because I am compassionate, patient, friendly, and I am very efficient in completing the activities of daily living, and any housekeeping needs. My experience in caring from others comes from working at an agency named Right At Home, and privately caring for people. I am CPR certified, and had Home Health Aide training through my company.
