I decided to pursue a career in Nursing so, that I can help make a difference in someone's life. I have 10 years of experience in the nursing field working as a HHA doing private care. I'm very reliable, honest, compassionate, and dedicated to making sure my clients are safe an have the proper care. Being able to help someone in there time of need is very humbling and reminds me to always be grateful.

My motto is always treat client the way I would want my parents or myself treated.Respect the fact I am in their home and include family members in care decisions. I wanted to be a nurse from time I was 8 yrs old and soon as I finished high school went into medical profession and feel I have a positive and compassionate personality . I have over 40 years experience with many letters of reference and awards as a caregiver such as employee of month/year. I love caring for others especially dementia/Alzheimer's as my grandfather was such a person 40 years ago. I love giving people a chance at a Good quality of life no mater what their diagnosis,Hold the hand of a person as they are slipping away and being a comfort to their family because caregiving is caring for family as well in being supportive. I remain like family to all my past clients family. My best achievement is making a time in someone's life which is hard better because I was there. I am CPR/first aide certified and have a level 2 background check. I am Covid Vaccinated since May 17,2021 with proof.

Growing up Always Being by My Grandma And seeing her go out in the community and taking care of the elderly and ever since I always wanted to take care of the elderly because my grandma did it and being by her side made me so proud of my grandma and I always wanted to make her proud and doing this makes her happy and it makes me happy I've been doing this type of work since I've been 16 so I have a lot experience in it and it makes me so happy and I love being around the elderly , they give you so much wisdom and words of encouragement I love siting down with them and listen to them tell me how things are so different from then and now and I love it.

I'm a great caregiver because I treat my clients as if there my own family. You always learn something new from every client you encounter. That's why I prefer home health care. I always have loved helping others since I was little. When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, I had alot to do with her care. From then on out I knew what I wanted to do. I recently graduated from FCTC, from the PCT course this past November. So I would say that's a good accomplishment. I'm now working towards being accepted into the LPN program. From there I want to persure my RN license.
