Currently I work as a phlebotomist for at least ten years. So I have plenty of bedside experience and interaction with patients of different ages. I love what I do in knowing what I do helps people to get better. I am proud to say I have been a clinical phlebotomist and I found that quite enjoyable. I also have previous CNA training and have worked briefly in a physicians office. I am currently having my certification renewed.
I believe that caregiving comes very natural to me. I am the sister of a young man who has Cerebral Palsy. Growing up with him has taught me how to be empathtic to other peoples needs. As an adult my ex husband had several strokes and I was his caretaker for 3 years until my youngest son was diagnosed with brain cancer. The last seven months I was my sons main caretaker and was honored to do so until his last breath at the beginning of the year. I believe I have a thorough understanding of what a caretakers roll entails.
My name is Tina Farmer but people call me Chawn (Shawn). I am a 20 year old student who is looking for more job experience. I have always been the caregiver in my family when it comes to taking my grandparents on their daily routines, doctors appointments, etc. Caring for family members who are post operation, have had a medical emergency, or are just in need of companionship. I believe I can offer a bright positive presence into a persons life. I feel as though I am positive outgoing and extremely upbeat. I am able to handle any and every task put in front of me and I most definitely can keep someone entertained.
My name is Brandi Neumeyer. I am 22 years old and have been a CNA for 3 years. I have worked as a CNA in a few different fields including assisted living, memory care and hospital. I made the decision to become a caregiver when I was in high school because I have always enjoyed being able to help people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is being able to provide people with care that they can no longer do themselves. It is a rewarding feeling to help elderly people because I believe in taking care of an individual as I would expect my own loved ones to be taken care of. I take pride in being a caregiver. If I were to describe myself in three words I think they would be respectful, caring and patient. My future goals are to continue with my education in the nursing field and become a registered nurse.
I am a mature young female who graduated from Bell High School in 2016 with my CNA license. I have been a CNA since 2015. I have previously worked in a nursing home with dementia residents and I am currently doing home health care. I am also CPR certified. I have some college experience and I have my own transportation.
I love having the opportunity to be able to help someone and care for someone in almost any circumstance. Wether I am needed to sit and watch or keep company and talk all day long I can do it! This is a great job for me because I prefer to work at night because I have school during the day (although daytime is nice as well) and it is good pay for a college student. I love being able to bond with people and keep them company when needed. It's like having a job where I get to have a friend and care for them :)
I am a 35 year old mother of 2 almost grown brilliant and outgoing kids. I have elderly parents who i love and adore, also live next door too. I have been in customer service my whole work life, 7 of those being management. I love helping people and making others happy. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy older people, i love their stories and learning from them. They tend to love me too. Seniors should be compassionately cared for because they've cared for others in their time. Their time left here on earth should be filled with love and laughter. I believe my personality and work ethic are well suited to care for your loved one.
I'm a Great Caregiver because I'm passionate about helping others when in need . Not only is it rewarding but u can make a difference in the patients eyes. When I'm done taking care of patients and they are smiling and enjoy my company then I know I'm doing my job right . If not then I'm determined to make the patient comfortable ..
As soon as I graduated high school, I went straight into college to pursue my dream as a nurse. I started out as a Certified Nurse Assistant and I'm currently working on my Medical Assist. I'm planning on continuing to get my Registered Nurse License. I love my job and caring for others. I've been in this profession since 2016. I learn and love more every day.
I enjoy being a part on improving someone's life who needs help with activities. I enjoyed building a strong relationship with the patient. It was a rewarding experience to know that my being there for her made such a difference in her morale. It gave her something to look forward to and i believe helped prolong her life. I am understanding, patient & caring. I will go the extra mile to make sure the patient is comfortable and happy.
