I am a very empathetic and passionate person when it comes to taking care of others. I love my job as a nurse, but just need some extra hours. I enjoy keeping my patients company and also helping with daily activities. I also am willing to stay overnight. I have an 11 year old son, but he can stay with my parents any time that I am working. I come from a great family and I am very family oriented.
I am a mature 46 Y/O female with a pleasant personality. I love to smile which allows people that I server and work with, knows that situations are not always dark as they seems. I do realize that by keeping a genuine smiling face, my co-worker are more drawn to me, and patients are more trusting of me and the care that I provides. At the age of 17, my mother was diagnosed with a neurological disease. After graduating from high school, the only noble and ethical thing to do was to care for her at home. At this tender age, I became a caregiver without a certification or license. I took impeccable care of her until she expired. Through those trying times I realize my heart for caring was more than I thought. I enjoy the look on a resident's face as if to say, "You have been a tower of strength through all this", or my co-worker saying " Great job Nurse A". I am so proud that after my mother's passing I did not keep my God given gift to myself , instead I went back to school and became a licensed care -giver to serve others with excellence.
I am a registered nurse at North side Hospital looking to expand the love I have for caring for others outside the hospital. I am very compassionate, empathetic, loving, caring ,and enthused about what I do and it shows in my work. I have a very strong work ethic and I believe in caring for others just as I would want to be cared for if I was in the same situation. I work 3 days a week at night from 7pm-8am , my days vary each week , but I am more than willing to try to work out my schedule in order to help meet someone else's needs.
Hi! I'm Monica and have been an RN since 2004. I feel blessed that I found my life's calling and cannot imagine doing anything else. I love my job and care deeply for my patients regardless of how long we are together. My current job is as the charge nurse for an outpatient GI lab in Canton, GA. I've reached this position after only being with Northside Cherokee for less than 2 years. I work with an amazing staff and love my job! Now that my children are a little older and more independent, I'm looking to provide care in a home situation part time. I'm looking forward to working more long term with someone and really getting to know them and possibly their family. I'm able to do things such as bathing and/or transportation to and from drs appointments. Having an ICU background I am also comfortable administering medications, caring for wounds and dressings if need be. I'm looking forward to working WITH patients and their families!!!
I am a great caregiver because I study in Adventist Antillan University and i love to care people, i know everything about care, and have a great knowledge in medicine, every person have the right to have a good live quality, and i speak spanish too if necessary, i study about good alimentation, people who i care, last longer then when others care them, that's my experience.
I have over 25 years experience as a registered nurse. Most of that experience was with seniors. I love spending time with seniors. Their life stories are exciting, and so riveting. ( the majority of seniors needing service are WWII survivors and their families.)The WWII generation was absolutely the most self sacrificing, unselfish, and strongest group of people this nation has ever seen. I consider it a blessing and a gift to be given the opportunity to make their lives easier. We all owe this generation a debt that can never be repaid. 2. I love being able to make a difference in someones life. 3. Working as a hospice nurse and helping hospice pts and their families understand the dying process, and making it easier for them to navigate the difficult aspect of the dying process. Hospice nursing is the most fulfilling nursing I have ever done. 4. I have a daughter and 2 grandchildren and they mean the world to me. I love being a caregiver because I love to help those who need assistance and help them get through each day. I am a giver and I frequently look for opportunities to do random acts of kindness.
