I have always been an old spirit even at a young age. I enjoy all people young and old. When I first moved down to Florida I volunteered at Hospice of Northeast Florida. It was very gratifying. I am also a licensed Foster parent and have been for six years. I have always been a caregiver my whole life from babysitting at a young age to taking care of elders throughout my life. Helping others in need.

Hello My name is Toniette Plummer. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have over 20 years of Experience of taking care of the Elderly. I truly enjoy taking care of people and making sure they are safe and get the care they need.

What I like about being a Caregiver is the diversity of my clients, everyone has a different story and background. I love to listen about their lives, accomplishments, family and loved ones. It's like watching a Classic tale of another time and these stories become part of my life, parts not to be forgotten. I love to put not only my heart into my work, but my sensitivity, compassion, laughter,attentiveness and honest character as well. I have worked with some challenging cases like Alzheimer's, Cancer patient's, Stroke patient's and other types of illnesses. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with and known my patient's, not just as patient's, but we became friends as well, and I was there when they needed me. I have been a CNA/Home Health Aid for several years, currently my license is inactive, but I still retain all the skills necessary to perform an outstanding job for you. I love to be a Caregiver and am thankful The Lord allowed such experiences in my life. I am a very compassionate person that truly enjoys taking care of people. I became a CNA to be apart of a team that helps Patients and residents get the best care they deserve and to help in the healing process in whatever way I can. I have worked with the elderly in home and in a hospital setting. I have also worked in a pediatric emergency room and an adult emergency room. I find it extremely rewarding to bring a smile to someone's face that are in a health situation when they feel as if everything is going wrong. I love to give hope even in the worse of situations. My personal achievement that I am proud of is when a patient leaves the hospital and gives me a big hug and thanks me profusely is the best feeling in the world.

I am a mother of 3 and a grandmother and i think this has equipped me with the skills needed to provide care to the elderly because as the saying goes "once a man twice a child". I believe I am very qualified to carry out all the duties and skills required of me and I throughly enjoy being a caregiver.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I care about my clients I look at them more than a client ,I consider them family I do my job with passion I love taking care of people. I became a caregiver after I took care of my grandmother before she passed away. I believe that I am a great caregiver for several reason. I love to help others as well as helping others help themselves. I believe in seeing fit that each person I come across is well taken care of by meeting all of their needs to the very best of my ability. The proper care of any if my residents is my number one priority followed by respect and proper communication! I have a passion for the elderly and I love to be there for them as they were there for others when they good get around and do things "giving back" is what I'd call it! What I like most about working with older individuals is the having the opportunity to make their day and see that smile that warms my heart to know I made them feel good or just plain out happy! I really don't have any personal achievements except the fact that once I have captured ones heart they tell me how much they appreciate me and love me that means a lot and is something I think is a good enough achievement!

I am compassionate, personable, experienced and patient. I got an after school job as a dietary aide at local nursing home and I really enjoyed it! I went on to get my CNA the same month I finished high school. I knew that was what I wanted to do. One thing that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help others, it gives me a sense of purpose and like I can make a difference. I must say often times they touch my life and much as I touch theirs.

I became a caregiver almost 3 years ago after caring for my mother with Huntington's, and my sister with spina bifida. I love being a caregiver and helping others when needed.. whether r be adls, just chatting or whatever.
