I believe in delivering quality of life for seniors and clients of any age! Showing compassion through sincere listening and being present for the clients I care for is a top priority. Through home visits with various agencies, live-in care, and working with an Assisted Living Center my combined services to the elderly have helped me thrive in the industry of caring. In the realm of younger folks, I drove a school bus for years and taught home schooled children including my own. I taught a class on self-empowerment based on the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series too. The classes I taught were an eye-opener and perhaps opened the door to a new way of viewing life. The life experiences I've had with Seniors who have become family to me and ultimately my friends has given me much more than I could have possibly conceived of giving to them! I found that with kids, being present and seeing the beautiful gifts they have inside always brought those gifts out with the acknowledgement. The services I've provided are most assuredly a soul's calling! Senior care and working with younger folks has been a perfect fit with my desire to make a difference with others, and the kind of career I totally enjoy! I have a knack for understanding human nature and the needs of the heart and naturally, I learned this through my own life experiences. We all are truly one when it comes to matters of the heart and what this life means! Applying the knowledge of our oneness is what the care of others is all about. I'm seeing my own reflection in the hearts of those that I serve in this type of work. From that seeing, I give the best of who I am to others! Importantlly too is the fact that I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have over 20 years experience caring for Seniors.

I have 34 years of Emergency Medical and patient care experience. I also have experience as a Director of a private Home Health Care Division where I ensured client schedules and home care needs were efficiently met. I am outgoing, dependable, caring and I thoroughly enjoy meeting new clients that I am able to help assist with their daily needs.

Over six years of hands-on experience as a caregiver I took care of Alzheimer's and P arkinson's adults., take and record vital signs , prepare and serve meals, assist with changing and toilet, perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry, assist using a for lift to transfer to different areas, a company to and from appointments and other activities. I love serving people

I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

In my work history you will see a gap the reasoning is I was caring for family members in between and warehouse job over night. I was in charge of caring for him from 5am to 4pm he was on a feeding tube colostomy bag oxygen and many more things. I was working nights to have a income but cared for him by day with no cost because he is my nephew. Now that he has a in home caregiver I would love to make this my career and help others in their time of needs.

I take my work seriously but caringly. I treat others with respect as if they were family. I can be fun or serious which ever it takes to make people happy. I am very passionate and respectful of other peoples belongings. I cared for my dad with dementia and copd until he passed @ age 91. I believe in making others my priority always cautious to there wellbeing. I am a petite woman but seem to be able to help others in need. I was a live-in with a lady whom when my job ended with her she told me I was like a daughter to her. It was hard to leave her but she needed more professional help that I was not qualified for. It has been over a year and I still miss her.

As I learn to serve in the community, I learned to become a good listener, and care for others. After caring for my own grandmother I noticed there was a difference in caring because it became personal, it also demonstrated to me by experience of a family. The need for care is very important and I believe in good care but most of all is Love!

I love working with the elderly. Working with them is my Passion,my purpose. It's all about them and their journey that they are on. It is my job in life to make them smile, make sure they are safe, and happy. And their families as well.I am a very good listener, great at redirecting, and have a great deal of patience.
