My name is Ashley Wiebe. I am 29 years old and a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children. In my free time I like to sit down and read a good book. What makes me a great caregiver is that I believe the client is #1. Their needs are my job and it is my job to make sure he/she is happy and comfortable. I am loyal, reliable, patient, dependable, on-time, caring, observant, and a great listener. I was a nanny for 15 years so I have always had a passion to take care of someone if that was a child or adult. What really got me interested in becoming a caregiver was after my grandmother passed away and I helped take care of her while battling Alzheimer's. It was eye opening for me and I wanted to learn who to become better at caregiving. I really enjoy most from my job is the relationship that builds between me and a client. Having fun and bringing joy to their day and mine.

I have been in the healthcare field for over 30 years. Growing up my father was a paraplegic, and my Mother and Brother-In-Law died of Cancer. I suppose caring for loved ones led me to a career in medicine. Recently, I cared for my live in Mother-In-Law of 20 years. She was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's in 2013. In the beginning of 2018 it became necessary to care for her full time. It became necessary to downgrade my practice in August, when she suffered a stroke and became bedridden. I cared for her at home 24/7 until February when she passed. I understand the mental, physical, and financial strain caring for a loved one places on a family. Allowing strangers in the home for any help/relief is a new frightening experience in itself. I am honest, experienced, compassionate, and have been in the same situation myself. I will do my best to help care for your loved ones in the loving way I cared for my own.

Cooking, cleaning, and laundry are no problem. I have improved the health of two past clients that were chronically ill through diet, exercise, & good care.
What makes you a great caregiver? I am a honest, loving caregiver because I take personal pride in everything I do. Why did you become a caregiver? I want to share my life with someone who needs a companion to make their daily life and routine a happy exciting experience. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am proud of my past careers and good work ethics. I have always put my heart and soul into every career I have pursued. I have always had perfect attendance, showed personal pride, integrity, and believe in teamwork in every position I have encountered.
