I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since October of 2004. I have had the rewarding opportunity to care for many people with various conditions. Through my experiences, I have excelled in areas of patience, empathy, and communication. My caregiving skills include, but are not limited to; bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, repositioning, ambulating, toileting, obtaining vital signs, transferring, preparing and serving food, medication reminders, oral hygiene, hospice care, and cleaning living spaces. I enjoy going above and beyond my expected responsibilities to ensure excellent care. I remain sensible and approach high pressure issues appropriately, according to urgency. I am results oriented. I think in terms of what else can be done efficiently, yet with a quality outcome. I take ownership of my job and hold myself accountable. I am flexible and willing to handle a variety of tasks in an organized manner. I am a compassionate person and I am always ready to help others in both my personal and professional life. I work well with all kinds of people and can adapt to their lifestyle and environment.

I became a caregiver To help with daily activities that others need,I enjoy sitting and talking, listening to the stories they have to offer.my personal achievement I am proud of is going back to school and earning my cna.I am a mother of four, very outgoing, understanding and strong willed.
I'm very passionate about caring for people. I like a challenge and open to learning new things. Being active in learning about the medical field in all areas as possible by attending school and getting my associates degree in medical billing and coding; took a accelerated CNA class and currently in school seeking a bachelors degree in healthcare administration. I'm willing to start from the bottom and work my way up that is my reasoning for seeking a certification as a CNA. My dream is to become a nurse in the near future.
I am a gentle hearted and soft spoken compassionate person. I've always wanted to pursue a career where I was able to help others. The thing I most enjoy about caregiving is that it is personal. I'm looking at home care as a career path because it allows you to make those connections by being one on one and allows me to put all of my effort into one person as well as being less stressful that a facility setting.
