I am a newly Registered Nurse who has solid communication skills for a variety of patients. I am extremely flexible, express empathy, compassion and attention to detail in many different situations. The reason I have a heart of caring for people is due to my upbringing. I grew up in a home of love and respect for everyone. One of those caregiving times was of my grandmother while she remained home in her aging years. I am the youngest of 19 grandkids who all took turns taking care of her. I have always enjoyed serving others and knew the place for me was in the medical field. I have always enjoyed taking care of our elderly and I believe that reason is due to taking care of my grandmother at an early age. I enjoy talking with them, listening to their life stories, taking in all their wisdom and knowledge about life. I raised 3 kids and now a grandparent and my greatest achievement are my family. My kids have grown up to be successful in their own ways and to know that puts a smile on my face and in my heart.

Hi my name is Contina Gray I have been a CNA for 20 years. My mother and aunt are handicap so given love and care to someone who is unable to do for themselves i love doing it. I have my associate degree I'm trying to get in Methodist School of Nursing.

Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.

I became a caregiver be cause my mother had a stroke and the family did not want to place her in a skilled facility. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can't help there self. My achievement I had made was going to Illinois Central College and be coming certified. I live in El Paso and am buying a home. I have 3 younger children in the home with me and 2 adults. We are all very happy and I am thankful to have them in my life.
