I believe I am a great caregiver because I have a passion for caring for others. I have worked in the field for many years. I am experienced and dedicated to providing excellent care. I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people and enriching the lives of others. A personal achievement I am proud of is being the only one in my family to attend college and becoming a certified nursing assistant in 2007.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.

Hi! I am a current nursing student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville but am transferring to the UofI in may. I'm moving back to my hometown of Champaign, IL. I have 3+ paid years of experience of being a certified nursing assistant. I have worked everywhere from cancer centers to nursing homes to home health care. Theres not much I haven't treated. I'm confident that I can provide the upmost care for yourself (or loved ones) as I put my patients first through and through. I always go above and beyond for each patient as they are more than their ailment, they're special like you and me.
