I speak English, Russian and my native Bulgarian languages. I am a Pharmacy Technician. I took a degree from I.R.T. Technical College in Skokie, IL in 2008. I worked 7 years for Traycee Home Care agency and last 4 years I've been a private caregiver. I also have a hospice experience, but mostly I've been taking care of clients suffering from Alzheimer's/Dementia, stroke and diabetes. The things that I feel that makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I am very passionate and understanding when it comes to to having someone you can trust with your loved one. I decided to be a caregiver because I had a baby sister who was very ill and it felt great to care for someone. I was glad in being able to take some pressure off my mom and being able to help make my sister more comfortable in anyway possible. When she passed I made a promise to get in the medical field to try to make a difference and really care about patients and their families do everything possible to ensure that they're well taken care of. I am proud that I was able to take courses and being in the top ranking of my class for medical assistant position. This allowed me to experience working in two different clinics at Trinity Hospital

I started out by taking care of my aunt. I love the feeling of helping people. I am carding, hard working and dependable very clean and trustworthy. And I rather live in if possibly. I have been fingerprinted and I done a background check. And I have more references available upon request.
I'm bulgarian and I am caregiver since I'm in USA- 2007. Before I become caregiver I use to take care of my mother and father in low for 3 years. This experience make me feel that I can take care of someone and I am very comfortable with this. It's very natural for me to smile, to be very friendly and sociable. I can deal very well with elderly people, I can be a great companion and can take all personal care of who need it - washing, bathing, grooming and so for.

Im kind genuine and very dependable . I Also Love working to help others in any way shape or form it gives me such joy and fulfillment to see someone smile laugh and often just the look of pleasure they sometimes have when you've helped them . I am proud as well as very fortunate enough to be raised by two awesome grandparents and when they were going through their transitions,I was more than happy, willing and honored to be by their sides so they would feel comfortable cared for without denying them independency . this is also why I became a caregiver and if any family would allow me,I will be as careing and helpful to the best of my ability to do the same.
I'm compassionate and caring and give 110% of myself during my time with the client. I enjoy reading to the clients and listening to their stories. I usually take the lead from the client and allow them to decide what they'd like to do for the day i.e. read, talk, listen to music, exercise, watch movies. My goal is to make the client comfortable and to feel safe while in my care. I enjoy preparing their meals and take the time to know the foods they can manage and the foods that they enjoy most. Once I know the client I will bring special meals and baked goods for them to enjoy. I'm attentive to their medical needs, the medications that they take and make sure they are rested and comfortable.
