I have over 10 years of caregiver experience. I started off as a caregiver to make extra money then I fell in love with the job and the people I care for. Now I'm a full-time caregiver going to school to open my very own elderly day center.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very compassionate, i pay close attention to the client needs, I am very proud to say that i have been working as a caregiver for the last 7 years, which makes me a good person, i am concern for the well being of the seniors. I've been a caregiver for over 20 plus years. I've performed private duty as well as live in homecare serviced. Overnight Memory Care Wound care Alzheimer's Dementia Cerebral palsy including Hospice care, Medication reminder s, feeding G-tube with medications and liquid food Maintenance is just to name a few. Such duties also performed included completing laundry errands cooking house cleaning transfer from the bed to the wheelchair shower bed bath grooming. Companionship combined with hospice, and cancer respite care.

My name is Olusayo Akindeji "AKIN", I'm a Nigerian and a Nigerian Army veteran. My late mother suffered from stroke and lived for 8years,i personally took care of her because of my Medics experience in the military, because of my love for my parents, I see elderly people as someone that needs adequate care hence when I arrived in this country in 2015,I undergone caregivers training at In Home health care and since then I had cared for numbers of elderly people. I worked for Mr Geraldi since October 2017 till August 3 2021 when he died and because of how family appreciate my job,,I was employed to take care of Mr Williams who is a child hood friend of late Mr Geraldi. My joy in this job is seeing my client happy/smile..

I became a caregiver because my grandmother needed me to help her stay independent and at home. I love being a caregiver and I am always meeting new and interesting people who all have different walks of life . I am most proud of my ability to relate to everyone. I have invested 20 + years and countless hours into my career training and it is really rewarding. I am a CNA and I am excited about the opportunity to care for people who need my help. I am CPR certified and I have been trained to work with a variety of different people. I am reliable and consistent. I have a kind and compassionate attitude. I really enjoy doing my life's work.

I became a caregiver because of my parents in need of care...During a 36+year period I have worked as a caregiver/home-care aide also assisted caring for my parents until they departed. I was taught to honor thy mother/ father and respect others at a young age... I have completed and passed a C.N.A. course 19+years ago and have worked in nursing homes,skilled facilities and rehab centers as a rehab assistant for quite sometime now...What I do in making a difference in helping others has always been a joyous experience.
