I am an excellent match to the caregiver opening posted on CareLinx.I am a certified nursing assistant. Since 2015,I have worked as a caregiver for Cardon and associates where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease with daily living needs. I work under the guidance of a PA and RN to help implement and support resident-care plans, which include providing services to aid in memory care, physical care and psycho-emotional care optimizing residents' quality of life. As a dedicated caregiver to elderly residents of assisted living and memory care communities, I Deeply committed to treating my elderly clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with elderly residents. Though I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents, the ongoing lessons I have learned from them have in return made a lasting impact in my life.

Or just get them out of the house for the day. What they're not able to go for a ride we can just sit on the front porch and talk the purpose is to get him out of the house for a little bit. I have 20 years of experience in the medical/nursing field. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and agencies and have found that in home care is the field best suited for me. I tend to be drawn toward Alzheimer/dementia patients as I'm learning my approach in care, they tend to respond to me best. I have worked with several families and helped to restore certain independence to patients with walking, dressing, feeding themselves. I ran a restorative therapy program for over two years in a nursing facility before deciding to take a home care position with an agency.
