My personality traits, being attracted to being a caregiver, and why I enjoy being a cargiverfor are that I truely enjoy caring for clients in their own homes. I am a very fast learner, very organized, reliable, hard-working, have good transportation, and always strive to perform my very best at any job I do. I am also very excellent at completing my paperwork on time. My most most personal achievement as being a caregiver/RN in the home health care environment is the one time I felt I really helped a client out with her disability. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I have patience when it come to my patients. I maintain a confident attitude at all time. I am very supportive and trustworthy.

I have 5 years or experience in home health and I am a Professionally trained Surgical Technologist seeking a part time or weekend shift in a reputable medical facility or home wherein I can contribute my knowledge and skills for the benefit of the care of the patient. I am passionate about providing quality care and support in the Health Care industry. Trained in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the surgical room and its equipment and tools. I have Experience with direct patient care and I have very Strong interpersonal skills.

About 11 years ago my family made a decision to care for a another very close family member at home with us it was a important decision we made and we did she was a lot more happier and we knew what was going on, I have been a CNA since 2009 I like to say I know what I am doing but theres always more knowledge to gain. I always knew I wanted to help people but didn't know how so I started in the medical field and loved it ever since. In the future about 6 to 7 years I do want to go back to school and become a nurse.

What makes me a great caregiver? Ill have to say, because i love people. Im very understanding. And I have a caring heart. Why did I became an caregiver? Well, my love , my grandmother, she was my frist patient. She told me love everyone the same. To never walk in hate, to let my work speak for me. MY personal achiement; To make the unhappy, Happy, To make sad,Smile, because of me.That why I love bring a caregiver.

I am great caregiver because I provided compassionate and competent to care for all of my clients. My entire professional career has been spent in the healthcare industry serving as a central supply tech, tech in the psychiatric unit for 13 years at University of Chicago Hospital and personal care attendant in Louisiana. I am personally and professionally fulfilled serving as a caregiver. It is so rewarding to know that I have helped so many people in need. I am most proud of my long term care and support to my client who was a quadriplegic. Prior to his death, I learned so many valuable lessons and enhanced my skills and expertise in the caregiving field.
