What attracted me to be a caregiver is my great grand mother who live until she was 100 years old. Caring for people, i love it when i can see a smile. I have 18 years of caregiver experience. I have a CNA for about 15 years. I started caring for folks because back in Africa, we care for our family members so it has been something in my nature to care for people. When I care for elderly folks, I treat them as if they were my family members. I've worked with all types of senior patients. Most patients have conditions of stroke, dementia, mentally challenged patients, cancer patient, hospice etc.

My duties include: All activities of daily living--no restrictions/no limitation; light housekeeping, I am organized and clean,, distribution and ordering of medicines; healthy meal preparation; able to puree and cut up as needed; will attend all doctor appointments on request and keep a written daily/weekly log on progress as well as any changes in clients condition to keep doctor and family well informed on request.. Able to run errands; grocery store, pharmacy, hair appointments, doctor appointments, etc.
