I am a proud Caregiver, I love my job, I am Kind, punctual and loving. I love been able to help anyone that needs a compassionate person that understands the difficulties day by day with different types of conditions physically or mentally. I have 7 years of experience as Home health Aide, caregiver and companion.

I realized that I love helping people when I was only 15. My grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer. I took her to all Dr appointments, sat with her thru her all pain medication treatments. It was hard for me to see her slipping away, but gave me joy to help her keep her independence. Ever since then I have been doing just that, enjoying helping people be able to keep their independence. I strongly believe that people live longer when they feel like they still have a purpose in life. My last patient was believed to just be bull headed, to stubborn to listen to what anybody said, not wanting to even get out of bed most days. After observing her for about a week I realized something wasn't right, I took her to the Drs and found out that her blood sugar was above 500. We went back and fourth to drs, nutritionist, and in just less then a month we had it regulated and below 130. She was outside walking, going to park with my children and I, and truly enjoying life for the first time in a long time

Hello, My name is Kyanna Brinkley. I am 19 yrs old and attend Harford Community College with a major in nursing a minor in business. I have 3 yrs experience with home health as I started at a young age volunteering at Johns Hopkins Baview Medical Center. I fell in love with providing care to the elderly. The companionship that you provide and the smiles on their face when they see you. I love hearing stories about their younger years. I plan on achieving my nursing degree and opening my own home health care business! I am very enthusiastic, caring, and a very hard worker! I provide services such as: bathing, transportation, house cleaning, meal preparation, day trips, medication supervision, etc.... I am cpr and first certified. One thing that makes me stand out from other care givers is I treat my clients like family. I treat them as they were my own mother or father. I am very proud of that as I also have many letters of recommendation to prove so.
