PLEASE READ AND LOOK AT MY PROFILE FIRST!!! I have been a private in home caregiver for over 20 years. I became a caregiver because people get so overwhelmed taking care of loved ones and that is where I come in. I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references just ask! I am skilled with Medicare and all insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket. I also am capable of getting everything my patients need to stay home. I work very closely with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I know that my hourly rate looks high but once taxes are taken and the price of gas for travel, it really averages out and you would pay a service the same thing and not get the same care at all! I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help cooking and cleaning. I can take you where you need to go or just run errands for you. My references will tell you that if you just contact me. You may call or text me anytime. 301-992-0370 Thank you so much for looking! Have a blessed day! God is Good All The Time!! I have been responding to messages but I am not sure people are getting them. If you are not, please call me!!!

I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day. I love meeting new people that's what interests me most about this job.

A person's quality of life is important to improve or maintain, as this serves as the basis for their mental health. I strive to provide proper care and provide emotional support to each and every individual that I encounter. I am familiar with the nursing environment as I was a C.N.A. for over a year on the Palliative/Renal/Oncology unit at Meritus Medical Center. I have knowledge and experience with caring for those with Parkinsons, ALS, Alzheimers/dementia, depression, substance use disorders, mobility limitations and paralysis, post-surgical needs, disorders of varying systems, and much more. I was born and raised in Sierra Leone west African. I am compassionate, honest and love what I do. I like helping people, and have a big heart. What attract me to be a caregiver was that, my father was so sick , proper care was not given to him I watched him died because there was nothing I could do then. Since then I took it upon myself to help the senior citizens. But I enjoy it must when am appreciated for what am doing, because no amount of money is enough for what we do as caregivers, is not all about the money.

After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I enjoy getting to know the person I am taking care of; their background and life experiences. Learning from them is always fun. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.
