Hello, I am a patient, hardworking, trustworthy, compassionate , Certified Medication Technician, who is CPR , AED , and First Aid trained , with over 18 years experience as a CNA. I have geriatric, hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's , Bipolar , COPD , and stroke experience, working in. nursing facilities, hospitals, assisted livings, and private residences. Caring for my grandmother is one of the reasons I became a CNA, and decided to become a private caregiver to give patients one on one care without rushing, treating them with the respect they deserve and expect. I take my job responsibilities seriously and do whatever it takes too get it done,

I have always longed to help out people since childhood especially the elderly. Just reminding myself that they were once able to do everything by themselves ,drives me to wholeheartedly help them out in their activities of daily living. I am a Certified Medication Technician , I am also a clinical medical assistant. I have been working in the field of healthcare for more than twenty plus years. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to give back to those who are in need. My experience in this field starting in 1995 as a personal homecare provider for the Baltimore City health department. It while working for this agency I found I had a passion for this field.My most recent job was in assisted living were In worked helping the residents with their medication and daily needs.

Before I began my experience and interest, let me introduce myself. My name is Miheret. I prefer going by Mercy. I am from Ethiopia. I enjoy reading books and hangout with my friends. I am a positive person, patent, listen more, friendly, hard working, and more Before I become a caregiver, I was a cashier at retail store. I enjoyed working as a cashier but it was not what I need. And so, I did not stay long because I need a job that will prepare me for my personal goals so medical field has been a good fit. So I started by taking CNA class. Afterward, I start working a nursing home and home health aide. Currently, I'm working asRMA. I like being a caregiver and RMA because It makes me happy when I met their need. Eventually, being a good caregiver and RMA will benefit me to become a better nurse. All in all, I have a good experience of doing ADL and administering meds. Through my experience, I have learned and practice a good patient care and go by according to patient/client need. I enjoy being a caregiver and RMA.

I grew up in an extended family setting where it's natural to be caring especially towards the elderly and children.
