I am a friendly,loving,caring caregiver. I love helping other with their everyday needs and activities . My personal achievements that am proud of is my cpr first aid and aed certification.

I like helping families breath a sign of relief knowing their love one is being cared for properly. I have received many thank you and hugs from siblings who appreciate the care that's being provided to their parent. I was especially proud when I had to take some time off to care for my sick mother and when I finally came back to the client I was caring for prior to leaving, her son and her daughter was so happy to see me return they gave me a big hug (even the son) and told me they hoped that I would return. The daughter was always tickled because her mother called me her friend.

I really enjoy being able to work with the elderly to sometimes get a better understanding. Over the years I have received my Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, Geriatric Nursing Assistant, Med Tech Certification also a Certificate for Blood Borne Pathogens achievement. I've also work a couple of Private Duty Cases. I think I would be a good fit for a position with your company because 1 - I have had years of experience, 2 - I really wouldn't need any training unless it's some new equipment that I have used before, 3 - My personality .

I have been a caregiver since 1990. I received my CNA certification from Manor Care nursing facility and Essex comm. college. I kept my certification for many years. My son had heart problems and I let my certification lasp but it did not stop me from continuing to be a caregiver. I pride myself on being a kind and compassionate. I can do just about any job that is required of me. And I go above and beyound to make my patients know I am a good listener and I will do my best to keep them happy and comfortable.

I took care of my grandmother years ago when she was diagnosed with cancer, it alway's stuck in my mind to do this for more Elderly people. I like being a caregiver because I feel good if I can help someone else's day a bit brighter. I used to live in Florida in the 1990's, and I trained or CNA/HHA and Medical Assisting. I have cared for many elderly people and I feel it a \\"special calling\\", to be a part of that care in their latter life. I am a 59 year old Mom, Grandmom and Caregiver. I just recently cared for a 91 year old dear lady who just recently her family decided it best to move her into a Nursing home. I am sad to see her go, but I feel it was her time to transition to advanced care her family chose for her and now it is my time to seek other Elderly in need. Also since March 2016, I've been caring for a elderly couple, initially it was only for the wife, but for the last few months the husband needs assistance as well. UPDATE: The husband did pass in Oct. 2017, two months after his wife, he was diagnosed with cancer and went downhill quickly, had hospice care and passed peacefully in his home. I do have reliable transportation and good references. :)
