I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how. When I go home at the end of the day I no I have done a good job and every job I have work everyone love how I work and how I communicate with the residents.

I"m a Certified Nurse Assistant who go above and beyond for my patients. I'm a active listener and a fast leaner making me more than just a caregiver. My patience, empathy and observation skill make me a special caregiver. I enjoy doing sometime they cannot do for themself.

My Personality traits I am people person . Love to have conversation. Love to see others smile and laugh even more on their bad days. I always loved healthcare since I was a child. I love to be a person support person . Their go to person whenever they need help. I enjoy helping people get better . I always get a good feeling when I made someone day or help them with grabbing a object . I'm very proud that I have gained my CNA license . I work and studied hard for my license . I have been doing this for 3 years now and my skills have flourished over the years .

I became a C.N.A because I had a family member Who was terminally ill and I know how emotionally taxing it was on me and my loved ones to find a caregiver that showed not just the skill set but the compassion that it took to treat my family like there own. So I keep that in mind on every client that I take. I plan to bring i high skill set along with compassion to every person I encounter because they're not just a client to me they're family.

Caring with Love and compassion will always be my goal in this field. Since I was a little girl I helped take care of my great grandmother. Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient. Time & Quality of Care is much appreciated both by Patient & Caregiver. I would like to extend my Time to other's in need. It will be a pleasure to be of assistance in this trying time. I believe that I'm a great caregiver because I do the right thing and have been in this field for over 20 years making a difference in someone's life is extremely important to me. I start taking care of people at a young age as I was raised by my elderly grandparents.

I love caring for people. I always am reminded that if it was one of my loved ones I'd want someone who was great so that's what I strive to be. I really learned that even more. After taking care of a loved who was battling cancer, then caring for her throughout her hospice time. I was with her until the very end when she transitioned. I've been in the home health working for the past 10 years. I have worked at the University of Michigan hospital as a Patient Attendant for 4 years. Which lead to me becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.
