I'm a caring and honest person who enjoys caring for others, I have always wanted to be a nurse it is my life long passion, I cared for my mother and father until their passing and enjoyed the ability to have them be at peace in their home with a loved one looking after them.

I have been a RN for 14 years. I worked as a Emergency Room Nurse for 10 years, Charge Nurse in a level 1 trauma center for 2 years,and a Circulating Room Nurse in the Operating Room for 1 year working. Prior to becoming an RN I was an Emergency Room Technician for 5 years. I also worked as a Certified Nursing assistant for 5 years on a medical/surgical unit. I worked in a Extended Care facility Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2 years. I have my BLS, ACLS, Adult and Pediatric trauma nursing certification. I also obtained Six Sigma at the hospital I worked at. I am also certified in Crisis intervention prevention. I am also certified with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA has reaffirmed a dedication to serve in times of crisis. Over the past 25 years I have worked in home care. I knew they were going to be short term assignments so I worked them due to me currently working full time. I found that I have a passion to care for individuals in their homes. I always treat my clients as I would want my own family member treated, I am a retired RN that misses the feeling of helping out another, but no longer wants the hustle, bustle of direct patient care. I have taken additional training as a Certified Senior Advisor and feel it is very important to be able to maintain our independence for as long as safely possible.
