I have over 25 years of experience working in healthcare. I have worked in both hospital and long term care settings. For me, the greatest rewards have been the connections I've made with my patients. Sometimes just holding someone's hand or actively listening to their story can make an enormous difference. The care and compassion I can share is an honor and gives me great rewards.
I became a caregiver watching my mother as a CNA while I was a youngster, she motivated me to become a CNA, also there's nothing that pleases you as a person than being able to help some one out and make there lives easier. I like it because after a full day of work you feel satisfied knowing you made a difference today. I am proud of where I started (CNA) because it gives me insight as to what I enjoy doing and future as well. I am well energized enthusiastic, prompt. love a good place to work, caring and compassionate
I became a caregiver to make a difference in the lives of others, to be able to go to work and come home and look myself in the mirror and known I had done something worthwhile and good. It is rewarding work, where I can make personal connections with others, and make use of my naturally empathetic nature and drive to take care of people. It makes me feel good to be doing something where I can be myself and do what I do best. A personal achievement I am proud of is making this my fifth year of helping people in their homes. Every year I gain new skills and expand my knowledge. I am glad to be in a field where I am always learning and growing. A little bit about myself: I am 30 years old, an outgoing and friendly INFP, into art, music, games, reading books, and watching shows. I love animals and have a dog and cat of my own. I am very patient, a good listener, and a quick learner! I have a car, I am flexible and punctual, and I keep a good attitude. I am very good at keeping myself occupied during downtime, but I enjoy staying busy as well.
Don't be deceived by my young age, I am a reliable young woman who takes pride in her work. I am known to be a kind, patient, positive, hardworking, and compationate person. I love spending time chatting with my clients, giving a listening ear or putting a smile on their face. My goal is make their day a little brighter and their family's life a little easier. I have many references that will tell you how dedicated I am to my work and the people that I care for. I've never smoked a day in my life and I have a reliable car that I bought last year. I pride myself on punctuality and organization but I am flexible when the need arises. I have had 5 years of homecare service under my belt, in which I gained experience I have experience in a wide range of situations and disabilities including alshimers, dementia, MS, after effects of a stroke, ect. 3 years ago I obtained my Nurse Assitant Certification (CNA) through the Red Cross.
