Hello, I am a busy mom of two. I work in Oncology and love my job. I am passionate about oncology due to my grandma passing from it. I enjoy people and love to get to know them. I pride myself on doing the best I can and helping someone in need. I am looking to supplement my income due to my daughter making competitive cheerleading and it being very expensive. I became a caregiver when my grandfather had a stroke and I desired to provide better care for seniors than he received. I am a mother of four older children and I am very organized and creative in caregiving. I am currently a nursing student working toward becoming as Registered Nurse. I have more experience with medications, surgical complications, ADLs, physical assessment, and emergency care than a CNA, but I still have the compassion of a one on one caregiver because I started out as a CNA.
I believe people should be able to receive quality care in the comfort of their own home. I enjoy getting to know new people, and being able to help someone without them giving up their comfort and privacy. I am proud of myself for graduating from an accredited school with a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance. I love working with people and being able to help people in need. The reason why I came a CNA is because when I was child I always helped my grandparents, so when I got older I decide to come a CNA because, I love helping others. I like to help people at all times, I like to take care of people. My achievement is you have to have patience when working in the healthcare field GOD will reward you if you help people out. I love to make a difference in people's lives. I am a caring and compassionate person. I was inspired by my mom who cared for my grandmother until grandma's last breath. I have worked in one nursing facility since 2003 till July 2015 and I have been promoted from CNA to Director of Social Services and CNA as needed.
