I became a caregiver b/c I love working with elderly people, I like what I do b/c it's rewarding &to know u make someone's day by doing simple things for them that we take for granted that we still can do. I had a personal experience with a family member and had to ask myself How would I want to be treated and taken care of under these circumstances.What do I like about being a Caregiver ? a meaningful role that allows you to show your love and respect for the person even if you don't know them you build a bond with that person. I became a caregiver when my mother became really ill. I took care of her and took her to her doctors appointments and gave her all her medicines. I stayed with her for 19 days until she passed away. I also did the same for my mother in law until she passed. Now I am taking care of my 85 yr old father which has hypertension, diabetes, and dementia. I went to practical nursing school and received my diploma, but did not pass my test to receive my license. I am CPR certified, as well as a CNA. I love to take care of elderly people. I love to sit and talk with them. I love to encourage them to eat all their food. I connect very well with the elderly and they connect with me. I am very loving and understanding and patience. I was the oldest in my nursing program. I had 6 children that I raised on my own, working 2 jobs most of my life. I want to retake my nclex test so I can receive my license and become a LPN.

I AM A BUSY BODY SO THOSE 7 DAYS I WANT TO BE BUSY TAKING CARE OF SOMEONE WHO NEEDS IT. I WORKED AT COVENANT HEALTH NURSING HOME FOR 8 YEARS, LEFT DUE TO LACK OF TEAM WORK. I LOVED THE PATIENTS AND THE FAMILIES NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GETTING ALONE WITH EITHER, AND WE WERE LIKE FAMILY. I WANT TO HELP MAKE SOMEONE ELSES LIFE EASIER BY TAKING CARE OF THERE LOVED ON WHILE THERE AT WORK, OR THERE IN A PERSONAL HOME. EVERYONE NEEDS HELP AND ITS MY PASSION. I ENJOY SAVING LIVES ON THE AMBULANCE AS A MEDIC MAKES MY DAY FEEL ACCOMPLISHED....

I became a cna in 2009. My grandmother and uncle both work in the healthcare industry. I love helping people and just spending time. Makes me feel like I have made a difference and touched someone's heart. It just feels good!

I am a very high driven, caring, compassionate individual. I grew up with my close relatives being CNAs or nurses. I started off as a student in my sophomore year of high school and started working as an aide my senior year of high school. I have experience in home health, nursing home facilities and hospitals. I love my job of caring for people, and you can always find me with a smile on my face.

I love being a care giver because i love helping others in need.need. I love help people be able to stay in their own home. I've been a care giver for eight years. I like taking care of individual in thier own instead of long term places because i like the one on one care i can provide.

I have cared for senior citizens for over two years now and thoroughly enjoy my job! I enjoy getting to know the people I care for. I love being able to make them comfortable and see the smiles on their faces when they realize someone cares about them. Everyone has a story. So often seniors feel they are forgotten. I love taking that feeling away and letting them know that a CNA should be like another family member. A CNA should be someone who loves them, needs them, and wants to see them every day. I love giving them hope, and they give me hope. I want to treat your mother, brother, sister, or father, husband, or wife, like my own. They deserve no less.
