I enjoy working with and helping people. I am currently a CNA and MED TECH. I am certified to help with medication management. I been a CNA for over 10 years and a Med Tech for 5 years. I am registered in North carolina and Virginia. I enjoy the bonding and getting to know my clients and their families and helping them with their needs. I was attracted to caregiving because i would help my grandmother when she was very ill and also use to take care of my mom when she had cancer. I am also CPR certified

1. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I realized that after becoming the primary sole caregiver to my terminally ill sister, I realize that this profession is my calling in life. 2. I took care of both of my ailing grandparents and I currently assist with taking care of my mother, who's a stroke victim. I enjoy providing the necessary care that people need. 3. I am a second year nursing student. 4. I am a retired police officer. I completed 20 years with the New York City Police Department and now I am pursuing the career I have always wanted. 5. I have a great love for helping people. I am a mother of two twenty-six year old identical twin girls, I have one grandchild whom I love dearly. I am also a retired captain in the United States Army. I am a college graduate and I am presently pursuing a career in the medical field. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant and a Medication Technician. I have experience with working with dementia, Alzheimer, stroke patiences and the elderly.

I am dependable, I'll always do what I'm asked to do and my whole life i am a peoples person, friendly and will make my clients smile even when everything seems upside down.

I became a caregiver 7 years ago at the age of 16. My mother is a registered nurse and encouraged me to start in health care. I have always had the heart and compassion to help others in need especially those who were no longer able to help themselves. I keep residents smiling, uplifted, encouraged, and try to maintain as much independence as possible all while providing a service and becoming a friend. The relationship I have with most of my residents and families are one of instant familiarity and as if I'm part of the family. I have traveled the world almost and witnessed how others lived. I always try to give back to the people who appear to be in need. Although there are times i may need something's if someone seems to need it more than me I reach out an extended hand, shoulder, food, or even as simple as a smile, anything I can. I have worked in healthcare ever since I could be employed. Helping others is my life , i don't know any other way to put it. I take pride and joy and peace in my heart knowing that I am doing what god called me to do.

I became a caregiver because my mom had 30 mini strokes to the brain from there I decided to take care of her, taking care of residents that need my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care my biggest achievement is yet to come I always looking to achieve more tomorrow than I did today I'm a caring,friendly person who would do anything for anybody if I got it I'm independent hardworking and love to laugh get along well with people
